Core units include: design, textile techniques, observational drawing and digital imaging; students also choose from the following routes: fashion/costume: performance costume, designing and producing fashion garments, millinery, concept garment design, textile accessory, textile art: fine art textiles, textiles for interiors, textiles for commission, textile accessory; core topics include drawing skills; research and experimental design covering textile crafts and techniques; communication; business studies; computer-aided design.
