This programme is designed for qualified nurses educated outside the UK; the programme builds on previous experiences, knowledge and skills as a nurse; students have the opportunity to develop a sound theoretical framework, and competence and confidence to transfer their existing knowledge and skills into the UK health environment; the placement in the final semester is assessed by practice-based nurses and successful students are then eligible for registration with the NMC (UK).
