This course enables the student to study education alongside modules from one of the partner departments; this allows development within, and comparison and contrast with, areas of the the two subjects (traditional and new and developing areas); this provides the student with an understanding of the complex interactions between education and its contexts, and relationships with other disciplines, and an understanding of the nature of knowledge in Geography as a subject and its curricular implications; students will also develop an understanding of the reciprocal relationships between physical and human aspects of environments and landscapes, and informed concern about the ethical, moral and political nature of those relationships.
