Applicant’s admission requirements – (criteria) marks, distinction, and class rank:
A, 90-100%, Excellent, 5%
B, 80-89%, Good, 20%
Academic requirements: having attended a major in linguistics, literature, civilization (and the history of ideas, if need be), having a good command of the necessary methodological, historical and cultural frameworks and references to specialise in Germanic studies. For example: introduction to linguistics; study of long periods of the German history – Germany since Bismarck, Austria-Hungary, etc.; study of major literary trends and works or authors - the classicism of Weimar, Faust, Heine, Thomas Mann, etc. Applicant’s required language proficiency (classification of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages): at least C1 level in French and C1 level in German
