Approved degree and ARB/RIBA part 1 examination; students who achieve an appropriate standard on Diploma may be eligible to progress or transfer to Master's.

Teaching is through live projects, lecture/seminar courses and visits; 10-week series of conservation masterclasses (open to the public) held in 2nd term; overseas study visit takes place at end of 2nd term.
