Admission criteria Arts, Culture and Society: At least a Bachelor's degree from a recognised Dutch university programme with a good overall result, or an equivalent qualification from an international institution.
(Students who have not yet obtained their degree may already apply if they expect to graduate before starting with this Master).
Training in arts and culture studies, combined with sociology or another relevant social science background such as political or organisational science, marketing, or didactics, at university level. Sufficient English language skills, documented by recognized tests of English language proficiency, e.g.:
TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language), minimum requirement: overall score of 100 in the internet-based test.
IELTS academic (International English Language Testing System), minimum requirement: overall score of 7.0.
Cambridge CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) at least grade B, or Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) will also be accepted. (Students may already apply before they have obtained their degree if they expect to graduate before starting with this Master).
Some training in economics at university level, combined with a sustained interest in arts and culture documented in academic studies and/or vocational experience.
Some academic training in empirical research methods.
Sufficient English language skills, documented by recognized tests of English language proficiency, e.g.:
TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language), minimum requirement: overall score of 100 in the internet-based test.
IELTS academic (International English Language Testing System), minimum requirement: overall score of 7.0.
Cambridge CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) at least grade B, or Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) will also be accepted. For native speakers and graduates of recognised academic programmes taught entirely in English, the obligation to take a language test may be dropped after considering your academic performance.
