How can we construct machines using less material? And how can we get these machines to run on renewable energy? What about human-machine interaction? The future holds great challenges for mechanical engineers. Study mechanical engineering at HAN together with classmates from all over the world! This hands-on and professionally oriented Bachelor's course is taught in English and takes 4 years to complete.

Is this course for you?

  • Lecturers with real-world experience: HAN lecturers have worked as researchers and for commercial enterprises. This means you get the most up-to-date information and techniques in mechanical engineering.
  • Graduates with mechanical engineering jobs at top international companies:
    - Constructional design (Besi, DAF, Scania, Hyster, IHC, Marel, ASML, NXP)
    - Energy systems design (Bosch, Nefit, Atag, Hyet, Nuon)
    - Health-care applications (Philips)
    - Production facilities and automation (Heinz-Kraft, Mars, Festo).
  • Smooth transition into Masters in Mechanical Engineering: As a mechanical engineering undergraduate, it’s good to know what comes next. Moving on to HAN’s Masters in Systems Engineering is easy.
