This course offers students the opportunity to acquire specialist scientific and professional skills and knowledge applicable to equine dental health; the programme allows students to develop technical skills within the laboratory and skills important for handling, caring for and assessing the dental health of horses; specialist knowledge of the pathology and treatment of dental disorders is a key focus of this degree; students are also involved in the discussion and evaluation of scientific literature and experimental protocols.
