This vocationally-based programme enables students to develop the nursing knowledge and practical skills needed to work within the animal and welfare industry; ultimately, successful completion can lead to a qualification as a veterinary nurse recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), provided that the student successfully completes those elements specifically required by the RCVS.
