The aim of the course is to give students the skills and experience that would allow them to develop an area of expertise within the considerable field of 3-dimensional design; they will through exposure to existing practitioners be introduced to the realities of working as a designer in the industry, either as an employee in a design practice or in a self employed capacity; the programme ensures that students are aware of how the various disciplines have evolved and the historical and contemporary social land cultural influences that have been factors in their development; students participate in a range of exhibitions and catwalk presentations and are supported by professional practitioners; application deadline: March 2010.
