Good Honours degree (1st or 2nd Class) in a suitable numerate science or engineering subject; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5, 550 TOEFL (paper-based) or 213 (computer-based), or equivalent.

Aimed at people wishing to further develop their applied mathematics skills while also gaining a detailed understanding of the causes, impacts, mitigation and adaptation measures associated with climate change; around 25 per cent of the course involves learning about the causes and impacts of climate change and measures that can be used to mitigate and adapt to climate change, taught in the School of Life Sciences from a biological perspective.
