Students learn techniques to devise and carry out studies to examine human behaviour and motivations; they develop their scientific reasoning and enhance their critical thinking, among many other skills; students learn about the core areas including social and developmental psychology and individual differences; they study the practical applications such as forensic and developmental psychology, and apply theory to real life experience; students explore research paradigms, methods and measurement techniques, and understand the background and structure of the profession.
