IU, BA, International Hotel Management (Study & Work)

The courses are held in lecture and seminar format. There are about 30 students per class – this encourages dialogue between professors and students.

The curriculum covers various core elements

• German
• General business management
• Industry-specific know-how
• Additional qualifications

• Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate with scores in the top 30% of your academic year
• Academic IELTS 6.0/ TOEFL IBT 80 points/PTE 56 points (51 points in each component).

Duration is 9 semesters (7 semesters, if German language proficiency level B1 is proven).

Within the IUBH programme Study & Work you combine practice-oriented coursework with practical experience on the job. After an intensive two-year German course you switch on a weekly basis between doing academic course work and working at one of our German business partner companies in the hotel and hospitality industry - this study model, the "dual system", optimises your opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
