Degree or a recognised equivalent; applicants must show evidence that they will have a minimum 75 hours teaching per year; voluntary teaching may be acceptable if undertaken on behalf of a charity registered with the Charities Commission; candidates must have a minimum of a level 2, preferably level 3 qualification in literacy and numeracy or be of that standard; acceptance on the course is subject to satisfactory references and CRB check; interview.
