This MA scheme is ideal for those who wish to study Gender and Women’s Studies in combination with empirical and theoretical developments in Sociology at an advanced level, and particularly suitable for those interested in social research and/or feminist sociological theory. Students take core courses in each of the disciplines and can choose from a range of optional courses in addition to these. This combination is administered from the Centre for Gender and Women's Studies, one of the largest centres in the UK for feminist research, gender studies and women’s studies, part of one of the most highly regarded Sociology departments in the UK. As a student on this degree you will join students and researchers from across the world that come to Lancaster not only to learn and carry out research but to meet other scholars and activists, to take part in seminars and workshops, and to absorb the ideas, insights and questions of world-leading leading sociology and feminist scholars.

Расположение
