Students develop a thorough understanding of the culture of fashion and the processes involved in designing, producing and marketing garments; they are encouraged to develop their individual creativity and prepare for the wide range of careers available within the industry; it provides a disciplined approach to design, with technical competence and a knowledge of the latest applications in fashion computer technology; work placement is encouraged and takes place in Year 2.
