Year 1: Gives the opportunity to develop and acquire new techniques, processes, skills, approaches and understanding; supporting modules in contemporary and professional practice, focusing on professional development and artist’s strategies. Year 2: Establish a critical position as an emerging professional artist and undertake an agreed project in the form of a public exhibition. Year 3: Dissertation.

Embracing the diversity of 21st-century art practices, the course explores drawing, painting, sculpture, lens based media or print to digital, installation, performance, social and public art; based in studios and workshops in the city centre building with the opportunity to work with professional artists; elements of the course involve learning by taking part in real projects in a range of public and social situations.
