Course explores the communication of ideas through the investigation of type, image, meaning and message; it also equips students with the understanding and skills to operate effectively within the design industry; students explore the designer-client relationship in response to the brief and help develop their creative understanding, individual drive and ability to communicate ideas effectively, both visually and verbally; there is a programme of lectures, seminars, designed to broaden students' understanding of the creative, social, cultural and ethical context of contemporary visual culture.
