A BSc degree Computer Science or a BSc degree with a major in Computer Science from Leiden University. Students holding such degree will directly be admitted to the programme. For all other candidates, the Admission Committee will determine the equivalence of their previous training with an aforementioned Bachelor of Science degree. The choice of courses in the Master of Science programme may be limited by the need to adapt the programme to the present knowledge of the candidate. Applicants with a higher professional education (hbo) degree in a related field of science are eligible to be admitted to the master’s programme. In close cooperation with senior research staff, you will do your own research project in the Leiden Institute of Advanced Computer Science. Courses on theory and experimentation on the frontier of Science will further enhance your knowledge. In a networked and case-based programme on management, business and entrepreneurship you will learn about running science-driven companies and exploiting business opportunities created in research. Your newly acquired knowledge and skills you will apply and enhance further in a company internship or business assignment.

Wageningen University is in Wageningen, a historic town in the centre of the Netherlands. Several bus companies serve the area and the local train station is 8 km north of the town.Most international students arrive via Schiphol airport wherefrom there is a train link to Ede-Wageningen station. The university is then reachable by bus or taxi.
