Students are continually assessed as they progress through a programme of integrated assignments which incorporate theory and practical studies; a 4-6 week industrial placement is an integral part of the course as are visits to manufacturers, museums, galleries and fashion shows and guest lecturers; a second year project is based on the students' organisation of the annual fashion show where their final collections are displayed on the catwalk.
