Year 1 provides a foundation in business-related disciplines together with an introduction to specialised accounting units; all students are brought up to a common standard during the 1stt year; there are therefore no specific subjects required for entry. Year 2 expands and develops the accounting and finance elements and deepens students’ appreciation of information technology and law in a business context. Year 3 introduces 2 option choices which allow students to maximise their professional accounting exemptions or study subjects offered elsewhere in the Business School. 4 core units develop the 2nd year accounting units and increase students’ understanding of current developments within the accounting profession.

Расположение

Здания Университета находятся в центре города Манчестер (кампус All Saints на улице Oxford Road, кампус Aytoun недалеко от Piccadilly, кампусы Elizabeth Gaskell Hollings), а также в городах Дисбэри, Кру и Алсэгер (в графстве Чешир). Идеальное сочетание: Манчестер – оживленный, и в то же время компактный, аккуратный современный город. Графство Чешир – приветливая сельская местность. В центре города находятся три железнодорожные станции, станция легкого метро, бесплатные автобусы, курсирующие по центру города. В городе функционирует отличная система автодорог.
