Stage 1: Units include: evidence-based management; philosophy of knowledge; literature review; qualitative methods; quantitative methods; specialist methods; professional practice: strategy and leading change; and principles of research design; stage 2: students undertake original research in their chosen field and organisation, applying the skills acquired in the research training phase; students prepare a thesis which makes an original contribution to the body of knowledge in their professional discipline.

Вступительные требования

A good Honours degree or equivalent; plus a Masters Degree: Either an MBA or a specialist MA/MSc in a business related area, the latter usually completed within the 5 year period prior to entry; and at least 5 years post qualification experience in their professional field; Overseas students are required to have achieved the IELTS qualification with a minimum score of 7.0.

Расположение

Здания Университета находятся в центре города Манчестер (кампус All Saints на улице Oxford Road, кампус Aytoun недалеко от Piccadilly, кампусы Elizabeth Gaskell Hollings), а также в городах Дисбэри, Кру и Алсэгер (в графстве Чешир).
