Applicants are reviewed on their high school transcript with particular emphasis on yearly averages and results in prerequisite subjects. Prerequisite subjects must have been completed during the last two years of high school.
The minimum requirement is the equivalent of a B+ average, and B+ in prerequisite subjects. IELTS 6.5.

Our programs—including Minor Concentration, Major Concentration, Honours, and Joint Honours Component, as well as a Minor Concentration in Indigenous Studies—are designed to encourage bilingualism, interdisciplinarity, and critical engagement. Our graduates go on to careers in the arts, government, the media, education, law, business, social service, and the university.
