Applicants must be of age 17 & above and meet ONE of the following entry requirements:

Year 1 Entry:

• GCE 'A' Level with 2 "A" and 2 "AO" passes  OR
• Non-business related diplomas from local polytechnics OR
• Other PEI's qualifications with entry requirement of 10 years of formal foreign education

Year 2 Entry:

• MDIS Diploma in Management Studies OR
• Business-related diplomas from local polytechnics OR
• Other PEI's business qualification (equal to 1st year of EDP) with an entry requirement of 12 years of formal foreign education OR
• HND or at least one year of study at a degree level in other field

English Language requirements:

• IELTS 6.0 (with no element below 5.5) OR
• TOEFL internet based test (IBT) 87 (Listening 21, Reading 22, Speaking 23, Writing 21) OR
• Pearson PTE 56 (no element lower than 51) OR
• Cambridge English Test Advanced - 169 (no element below 162) OR
• MDIS Professional Certificate in English (PCIE)

Programme Aims & Objectives

Financial markets are becoming increasingly complex and sophisticated, with managers, traders and analysts continually evolving new methods of packaging and selling assets and securities offering new combinations of risk and return.

Business Studies and Finance focuses on combining a specialised stream of modules in finance with a more general business studies programme which covers a broad range of business and management disciplines.

Assessment Methods

Students are required to complete a coursework or assignment or class test as stipulated in the respective module descriptor for each module. 

Graduation

Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business Studies and Finance from Bangor University, UK.

Progression

Upon successful completion of this programme, students will progress to the MBA Programme from Bangor University, UK.
