Development skills (script analysis and script editing; developing a project from source material; collaboration with writers and directors; pitching; negotiating the deal); production skills (budgeting and scheduling; managing the production; post production techniques; editing, sound and music); business skills (publicity and marketing; sales, distribution and exhibition; co-production; financing; legal and financial matters); television (developing a proposal to a broadcaster's commissioning brief; the television commissioning process; financing a television programme); students go to the Cannes Film Festival in their 2nd year and, in their final term, are introduced to key figures in the industry.
Вступительные требования
Application must be accompanied by a short proposal for an original feature film or television series, serial or single drama or an outline for an adaptation; brief commentaries on 3 recent films or television programmes, an analysis of the student's favourite film/television programme and a brief evaluation of a producer the student admires are also required; clean, current driving licence is recommended.

The course covers fiction production, from script development through finance and production to sales and distribution, for both film and television and also animation; students produce at least 2 short live action films and 1 animation.
