The management awards are based on the standards used by the Institute of Leadership and Management and allow participants to demonstrate competence in a variety of environments, with evidence to support claims of competence coming from activities at work; students develop skills in: taking account of internal and external factors in identifying market opportunities; reviewing the strategic and financial performance of the organisation; improving effectiveness of individuals and team members; managing information to the benefit of effective communications and decision-making.
