Accounting Stage 1: Students spend half of their time studying accounting and finance subjects: foundations of accounting, information technology and business finance. Stages 2 and 3: Half the modules are taken from the discipline of accounting and finance; students choose some modules in the core areas of financial reporting, management accounting, or finance, as well as having the scope for some optional modules in other areas of accounting or finance. Information systems Stage 1: Includes modules concerned with programming, as well as the impact that computer systems have on our daily lives. Stages 2 and 3: Students continue to develop the skills they have learned at earlier stages of the programme through more advanced modules; topics include: databases; information handling; human-computer interaction; and systems administration.
