The course is a modular degree based on design project work supported by lectures and seminars that examine the theoretical dimensions of architecture; each year students are required to complete 120 credits of work; the course incorporates a research-based linked option.

For external students: A 1st-class Honours degree plus RIBA Part I and 1 year of professional training; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5; TOEFL 90 (Internet-based); 577 (paper-based); or equivalent.
