3 compulsory modules (60 credits) covering: Issues and ideas; management; communication and interpretation; plus a 20-credit module in collections management; a 20-credit specialist option covering the theory and practice of a specific area of museology including: archaeology; social history; natural sciences; and interpretation and exhibitions: all include a practical project; museum placement (20 credits); plus a piece of individual research for presentation as a 15–18000 word dissertation (60 credits).

Вступительные требования

2:1 Honours degree or equivalent; in a relevant subject; applications from professionals with considerable work experience in the museum; gallery; or heritage sectors are considered; some museum or heritage experience, for example as a volunteer; where 1st language is not English IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in writing; TOEFL 90 (Internet-based); 577 (paper-based); or equivalent are required.
