Knowledge, skills and aptitudes covered by this course include: The scientific basis of dentistry; behavioural science and communication; the processes of disease; principles of health promotion and disease prevention; the organisation and provision of health care in the community and in hospital; the care of oral appliances and devices; dental practice issues: including: ethics; medico-legal considerations; health and safety.

Вступительные требования

Either: 5 GCSE's including biology and English; Dental Surgery Assistant qualification; plus an A level pass in biology; or: 5 GCSE's including biology and English; plus 2 A level passes; in addition, some dental nurse experience is preferred;applicants must pass a medical examination and an Enhanced Criminal Records check.
