Вступительные требования

Must have dental degree recognised by the UK General Dental Council (GDC) as being sufficient for purpose of temporary registration (temporary registration itself not required); minimum 2 years’ dental practice experience; required immunisation against blood-borne viral disease and without any disease which would constitute a hazard to patients; international and EU students for whom English is a second language must also have a minimum of IELTS 6.5 in all sections, TOEFL 90 (Internet-based), 577 (paper-based) or equivalent.

The programme combines academic and clinical training with a structured, independent research project and complies with the UK standards for specialist training in orthodontics set by the Orthodontic Standing Advisory Committee of the Royal Colleges; taught element consists of mandatory clinical training including clinical practice on patients and seminar programme that covers: basic orthodontic subjects; general orthodontic subjects; orthodontic techniques; biological sciences relevant to orthodontics; multidisciplinary treatment procedures; specific treatment procedures; information technology; management of oral health; practice and business of specialist orthodontic practice; workshops also undertaken in research methods and research management.
