The programme is of interest to experienced practitioners and managers working across the public, voluntary and private sectors; the course provides students with the opportunity to examine policy, research and practice in early years education, provision and care; it enables students to research specific topics and themes directly relevant to their work; students are encouraged to develop higher-level skills including critical analysis, research, evaluation of policy and practice, management and organisation, working with others and strategic thinking.
