Вступительные требования

A degree in law; a degree incorporating law; elements or a joint honours degree incorporating law; a comparable professional qualification; students with non-law degrees but appropriate work experience will also be considered; candidates without a degree or equivalent but suitable work related experience may also exceptionally be considered for admission to the Diploma; plus one of the following; applicants for whom English is not their 1st language, must have attained a score of 6.5 or higher in the IELTS test.

Course is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Commercial Law and opportunities for personal development within the area; students gain specialist legal knowledge within a practical context, whilst developing expertise in chosen areas and enhancing research skills; the programme builds upon participants experience - whether gained through undergraduate study, employment or legal practice - and in addition to developing existing expertise and knowledge, the programme offers a range of practical benefits including: greater awareness of legal commercial issues; the ability to apply specialist legal knowledge to practical problems; the acquisition of expertise in new specialist areas; the ability to critically evaluate legal issues; enhanced research and presentation skills.

Расположение

Нортумбрийский университет расположился в самом центре города Ньюкасл-апон-Тайн, который неоднократно признавался лучшим городом Соединенного Королевства для студентов.

Всего в получасе езды от Ньюкасла находятся чистейшие пляжи, старинные замки и живописные деревни. Добраться туда очень просто — в регионе действует система Метрополитена Тайна и Уира, а также эффективное междугороднее автобусное сообщение. Путешествие из Северо-Востока в другие регионы страны также не представляет труда — путь до Лондона составляет всего три часа на поезде, до Лидса и Эдинбурга — полтора часа.
