Honours degree at 2:2 or above in relevant subject or equivalent qualification or employment experience; candidates write a 1000-1200 word proposal; candidates required to attend an interview; students for whom English is not the first language should be able to demonstrate their ability to use English at a level appropriate to Master's-level study.

The course offers opportunities to question, develop and extend or re-invigorate creative practice within the professional environment of a specialist school of art and design and to explore, through a range of methodologies and interaction with fellow professionals, questions arising from the processes of learning, teaching and creativity; the course has been designed to appeal to studentsfrom a wide range of creative practices including art, design, craft and critical disciplines and many will be practising teachers or lecturers; experience as a teacher is not mandatory.
