The course questions how design can contribute to the growing needs of society through environmentally and socially responsible design practice; it enables students to discuss future design needs and concerns within areas such as sustainability, technology, changing audiences and markets, inclusivity and ethics; students are encouraged to anticipate and address key issues that concern contemporary design practice and how this may develop and change in the 21st Century.
