Honours degree of 2:2 or above, or equivalent in relevant subject, or employment experience of equivalent status; all applicants write a 1000-1200 word proposal; candidates are required to attend an interview.

There are opportunities for a drawer from any appropriate discipline to pursue an individual and original inquiry of this subject; the curriculum has been designed to present the student with a series of propositions relating to contemporary drawing practice, which challenges and inspires the development of their own practice at its heart but recognises that drawing operates within an array of cultural, social and political arenas which dictate both the creation of images and their reception; the course is a combination of taught and self-negotiated units.
