The course links the design and construction of buildings, and considers them from both the managerial and technological points of view; students cover the application of the physical and the social sciences to construction technology and management, economic factors and the use of resources, the role of the construction manager, and the knowledge needed for the successful operation of a construction organisation in a competitive environment.
