The course develops the knowledge and skills for students to effectively undertake the role of quantity surveyor and to ensure that the aims and objectives of construction projects are met in terms of cost, value, quality and time; in addition to providing the necessary knowledge, vocational and professional skills for a career in quantity surveying, the course also strongly develops transferable qualities such as communication, analysis and applied information technology skills.
