If you are interested in young children and how they learn and grow, this course will enable you to explore this fascinating stage of human development. The early years are a crucial time and you examine childhood from a range of perspectives. You will gain the professional and academic skills as well as the hands-on experience you need to work with children. Thematic links to psychology, sociology, health and social work and issues of policy and educational practice at both national and international level are also included.
