A-level: grades DD or equivalent. IB Diploma: 24 points. BTEC National Diploma with 3 passes. GCSE: Mathematics and English Language grade C minimum. You should be aged at least 18 and hold recognised qualifications to A-level standard, but with grades insufficient for entry to a degree-level course. IELTS 6.0 (with 6.0 in reading and writing, 5.5 in listening and speaking).

This one-year course is designed to improve your general skills in computing, mathematics and information technology. Successful completion allows you to progress onto one of our degree courses in computing or mathematics, subject to meeting specific course entry requirements.
