The course welcomes UK, EU and International applicants and will appeal to individuals who already possess a good BSc honours degree (normally at 2:1 or above) in a science-based subject such as: Anatomy, Biological sciences, Biology, Exercise, Physiology, Physical education, Sport. Applicants must: Have GCSE Maths and English or equivalent at grade C or above. Have experience of paid or voluntary work within a physiotherapy context which enables the applicant to clearly demonstrate some understanding of a physiotherapist’s knowledge, skills and values. IELTS 6.5-7.0 (with 6.0 in reading and writing, 5.5 in listening and speaking).

The MSc in Physiotherapy (Pre-Registration) is a qualifying course for graduates with a relevant first degree, providing the opportunity to undertake a physiotherapy course leading to registration at master’s level. You will benefit from an interprofessional approach to learning in which some modules will be shared with other health and social care students. This type of learning will help to prepare you for work in the current health care environment.
