You should normally hold a first degree, equivalent to at least a British lower second-class bachelor's degree, in mechanical, automotive or motorsport engineering or a related discipline. Applicants with relevant professional experience will also be considered. If your first language is not English you must satisfy our English language requirement by providing us with evidence of a minimum IELTS score of 6.0.

The MSc in Racing Engine Design is intended to enhance and extend your knowledge in engine design. The course provides an intensive exposure to an integrated design, simulation, modelling and analysis of racing engines. The analysis elements of the modules include structural optimisation, dynamics, internal combustion engine thermo-fluid dynamics, engine performance, tuning, mapping and monitoring.
