You should normally hold a first degree equivalent to at least a British lower second class bachelor’s degree in any discipline other than those very closely related to media technology. If you have relevant professional qualifications or work experience you can also be considered. If your first language is not English you must satisfy our English language requirement by providing us with evidence of a minimum IELTS score of 6.0.

The course covers video and audio production, computer graphics and animation, and the making of interactive products for distribution via new media platforms, as well as the longer established media of television, video and audio. Students work on the award-winning Brookes TV, making and producing broadcasts, as well as for external clients, producing promotional materials.
