For entry onto the programme, we require: five passes at GCSE/IGCSE level at grade C or above, including English successful completion of a GCSE in Mathematics, or equivalent two A Levels at grade C or above Alternatively, we will consider qualifications received through successful completion of a recognised Level 3 or Access Programme; the full International, European and Welsh Baccalaureate; or, other qualifications as deemed acceptable by the University. Other international qualifications, as recommended by the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) will be accepted. Please note a portfolio interview will normally be required. For those applicants whose mother tongue is not English, we require a recent pass in any of the following qualifications: Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, grade C GCSE/IGCSE English, grade C (for non-EU IGCSE students, please provide along with the IGCSE certificate, the Supplementary Certifying Statement with the breakdown of component grades) IB Diploma English A grade 4 or above HL or SL. English B grade 5 at HL IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with an overall score of 6.0 (for non-EU students: a minimum score of 5.5 in each component) TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 80 on the internet-based test (TOEFL results not accepted post 17 April 2014 for non EU/UK students) Pearson Test (PTE Academic) score of 53 (for non-EU Students: a minimum score of 51 in each component)

Interior design is a fast-moving discipline that aims to improve our experience of many different places, from the home to retail and commercial environments, exhibition spaces and places of leisure and hospitality. This programme provides an in-depth, industry-focused education that will help you to develop the creativity, knowledge and skills necessary for working as an interior designer across various sectors of the profession. You will explore this thinking through a study of the history and theory of interior design, as well as drawing and making. You will look at design in a number of fields and take on a variety of design challenges.
