We require a minimum of three passes at GCE A-level at grade C or above, and five passes at GCSE/IGCSE level at grade C or above, including English and Maths. Or, at least 30 US post-secondary credit hours or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Please note, if you are applying with a 12-year high school qualification such as an American High School Diploma (without any AP passes), you will normally be required to complete the one-year Integrated Foundation before progressing to your chosen BA (Hons) degree course. For those applicants whose mother tongue is not English, we require a recent pass in any of the following qualifications: Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, grade C GCSE/IGCSE English, grade C (for non-EU IGCSE students, please provide along with the IGCSE certificate, the Supplementary Certifying Statement with the breakdown of component grades) IB Diploma English A grade 4 or above HL or SL. The BA (Hons) Liberal Studies (Media Communications) offers a grounding in media history, theories and developments. You will become experienced in media analysis techniques and media research methods used in industry. You will examine media law and regulatory issues in relation to new technologies and established media. You will use industry-standard techniques and tools for creating and producing media content across visual, digital and emerging platforms.
