The emphasis of the course is firmly placed on the connection of finance theory to practical management, providing an overall appraisal of finance for financial and non financial managers; in addition to the underpinning management subjects, the course covers modules in corporate financial management, international finance, treasury management and the financial environment; students may also develop competence in key transferable skills and knowledge in areas such as communication, information technology, teamwork, handling of information and critical analysis, which employers identify as being essential for a business professional; includes 1-year work placement in year 3.
