Вступительные требования

This course is intended for students who possess an honours degree in a computing discipline or an honours degree in another discipline with significant computing content; all international students for whom English is not their 1st language must provide evidence of linguistic ability, by gaining either IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent in TOEFL prior to receiving an unconditional offer of a place on the course.

The degree aims to provide specialist, advanced technical skills in the areas of data mining, information retrieval, and e-commerce; students become specialist practitioners in the specification, design and implementation of advanced information systems and learn to access, critically appraise, apply and disseminate state-of-the-art knowledge in specialist topics covered; it provides sound basis for further research and/or professional development; project module is of particular value to employers as evidence of the ability to produce high quality work of an advanced technical standard to deadline and to a high standard of presentation; on joining the course students have the opportunity to apply for an industrial placement which runs for up to 45 weeks; those taking this route are encouraged to complete their project while on placement where possible; alternatively they return to complete the MSc project after placement.

Университет Роберта Гордона расположен в исторической части Абердина, на северо-восточном побережье Шотландии.
