Course grounds students in many practical skills as well as some of the theory required to become a 'plantsperson'; the focus is on theory in the third and fourth years, although an individual honours project allows the student to investigate a topic of their choice in depth; offered in conjunction with the Scottish Agricultural College, Edinburgh and the University of Glasgow.
