Current areas of study include: Design innovation using new technologies and materials; fabric in a can (development of spray-on materials); seamless garment construction; new aesthetic for calendered vinyl; flooring as illusionary surface; ergonomic tailoring techniques; dyeing technology and fabric manipulation; conceptual fashion design; environmental and ethical issues relating to fashion consumption; computer-aided design; knitted fabric for interior design; fashion and the fragrance industry.
