Only 1 or 2 applicants are selected each year for this course which ensures that each student has the contact with a range of orchestras and ensembles necessary for professional training in conducting; the course focuses on the development of baton and rehearsal techniques and includes supervised rehearsals for both orchestral and operatic work.
